 Matt holds a Bachelors Degree in Education with a minor in Insurance & Risk Management from Missouri State University. He began his insurance career on the MGA side in 2003. In 2005, he was selected as a NAPSLO (National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices) intern. As an intern, he worked with Markel Southwest Underwriters in Scottsdale, AZ and R.E. Chaix Insurance Brokers in Newport Beach, CA during the entire summer of 2005. Matt joined S.A. Freerks & Associates in 2006 as a Garage underwriter and also underwrites Property & Casualty
